Here's Why You Should Give Up On Dating Apps & Try Dating The Old Fashioned Way

The brilliant creator created the human genre to live in couples. God created Eve from Adam and for Adam to live together in such a harmony, loving, passionate, and joyful relationship. People feel down being single, and dating apps companies’ works on that urge people have for a mate by offering illegitimate unscreened dating mates to make a profit. Most people using online dating apps are looking for a long-term relationship, a soul mate that can enjoy the life through looking at their eyes, and watching the happiness over their faces. The sites users work their best to create the most positive profile that does not reveal their real character willing to find a match and the truthful users will end up with someone’s profile that pretending to match but do not match. I researched several dating sites and talked to several friends about their experiences with the online dating, and I came up with the conclusion that you should give up online dating and start dating the old fashion way for these reasons.

There's No Genuine Connection

We are living in a world where people are afraid of the authentic gold; we think it is too good to be true. With the genuine connection, a person can tell if the connection is real and not just matching with some polished online profile.  I asked a friend to share his thoughts about online dating; he said you could not be yourself online, editing your dating profile repeatedly to match with someone will cause you to lose the real self in the quest to be the person with the perfect profile. Is online dating worth the stress and sacrifice of losing or hiding whom you are?

Lacks Excitement & Chemistry

We get excited when someone shows us attention at the park or the grocery store and ask us on a date because we have much to learn about him or her. While with online dating, we go by the book and over everything important before we even meet, the person and the date often lose the excitement. When we meet someone in person, you can tell right away if we are into him or her or not. The online conversation is dry with limited feelings. We feel better and more connected while talking directly to people and around people.

Playboys Have the Best Profile

Most good people are horrible at putting together their online dating profiles. They make complete fools of themselves or are just clueless, and we judge them early. Online dating sucks because you end up seeing how much scum is out there. You think someone is great and then you go on a date, and they are horrible. You’ll be able to notice that much sooner when you only date in person. You never know if people are truthful. They could be putting down bogus interests and even lie about wanting a real relationship. So you can never really know if someone is sincere or not.

Elderlies Are Looking for Young Blood

A female coworker mentioned her experience of the online dating saying that she is in her late forties, and has a seven-year-old son. She stated that most men her age are looking for younger women and without kids. Being in this age bracket, she gets interested from men that are in their late fifties or their sixties, and this age bracket is out of her interest. She said that she experienced a big number of men that are interested in a quick date or married people that like to fool around.

Crude Language

Another friend shared her experience with online dating by saying that men using these sites are crude and disrespectful. She mentioned that they feel more powerful hiding behind their computers to use vulgar and street language. She added that "once I showed no interest in someone’s request, he then responded with all kind of street and bar language to the point that I felt I am a second or street girl because I put myself in this situation."

Time-Consuming

There is no doubt that online dating is time-consuming. A friend mentioned that he would get 10 to 15 messages daily, and most of these messages are not from genuine dates but players. He mentioned that he did not feel any connection, online dating required him to spend a lot of time and energy more than what he anticipated and recommended that spending the same time in an old-fashioned way will give better chances of meeting someone great, real, and genuine. Now, please, delete all the apps and resolve to get back to basics. You are going to meet someone the old-fashioned way!
