As a former New Year’s Resolution maker I can tell you I never really kept them. The earliest New Year’s Resolution I remember making was losing 40 pounds. I tried to keep it, at the time was unaware of how to really lose the weight. As years went on I continued making it my New Year’s Resolution, until I finally stopped. This didn’t stop me from trying to change the way I ate and exercising. However, I started making my weight loss a lifetime resolution and found that easier to keep.
