My Fashion Has a Name & It’s Called Me
Who am I you ask? I am every color, every shape, every pattern the more unique, the better. From a young girl growing up in Miami, FL color was all around me. I looked at it as a way to express myself, if you saw the creativity you saw me in it.
I would have a vision of what I wanted my house to look like when I grew up, the style I wanted to rock. When I became of age and joined the military, I began very small exploring my creativity. We all have to start somewhere so that I would decorate my bathroom with different colors and patterns, at first my roommate at the time would look at me funny, she was from up State. Using color was not a thing for her. But, as time went on she began to have a love for looking for my next mission to create in our bathroom. The colors went from decorating the barracks room, bathroom to no putting my creativeness into my clothes.
I dared to be different. I didn’t dress myself to put on a show for others I dressed for my liking. You shouldn’t care what people think of your style. Some will tell you there are rules in fashion. I say there are no rules you make them up as you go along, or just live as I do. There are no rules within fashion in me. My fashion has twists and turns like no other. Things you wouldn’t think about go together I make them work.
You want to know my secret. Well, because it's you I will tell you and only you. I will sometimes walk around Wal-Mart yes Wal-Mart and mix different towel colors together to figure out what colors stick out to me. And then I go from there. Remember I told you I visualize ahead what I wanted my home to look like when I grew up, well I now do the same thing with clothes. But, I go a little further than just the clothes; I know what I want my hair and make-up to like with the outfits. I see the vision and then execute. Many will see me and think I spent a lot of money on my clothes, but little do they know. You can take something from Wal-Mart and Target and make it look like celebrity style clothing.
My me fashion goes from left to right, up and down, and sideways. Some days I just want to be simple, I may have an accent of shoes or necklace to bring it out. For me, sometimes less in more, the less you have on with a small accent can make you look larger than life. Sometimes I will let my belt and shoes or hairpiece be the center of attention. I don't have any one style; it’s whom I feel like being that day. Ladies and gentlemen, you can be whom ever and what ever you desire to be in fashion let you creativity exploded into something great, let your fashion be you because mine is surely me.
