Who Created Too Faced?

Creators Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson started Too Faced Cosmetics because they were unimpressed with the cosmetic industry. Blandino got his start working at the makeup counter in department stores during the 1990's. Too Faced got its name from the faces his clients would make when he ran out of their favorite lipstick. His first attempt at making his own products began with him mixing eye shadows with lipstick. He would test these creations on his clients. After noticing that with just a few minutes in the makeup chair completely changed their confidence. Women loved his products and the way he applied them. He created products that were fun, feminine, and made their own rules instead of following others. Jerrod Blandino only had a credit card and a vision, but worked hard to achieve his dreams.Jeremy Johnson got his start working in fashion. He worked at Armani, but spent time at Chanel and Estée Lauder. In the 1990's he teamed up with Jerrod Blandino and they began working to create Too Faced. How Too Faced Started & Their First Products

Too Faced went from a dream to reality when the creators started meeting with professional makeup labs. As he began to develop his products his popularity grew. He was known as a game changer for inventing the world's first glitter eye shadow, plumping gloss, and 24-hour crease proof shadow primer.Too Faced has been around for almost 20 years. Even though every product seems to be flying off the shelves, but that wasn't always the case. Some of Too Faced first products are unrecognizable compared to the new ones. The Natural Eye palette originally wasn't in the tin metal square container. It was in a square plastic packaging with the same nine eye shadows. The formula and pigments have also changed. The colors are more vibrant with brighter pigments.The lip injection extreme was once in a thick clear tube with a black top. Now it's a clear tube with a gold top. Even their Papa Don't Peach blush was transformed. It was once a smaller plastic square shaped blush that fans were disappointed with. Now the packaging is their signature tin square shape with better pigment and staying power. One of the reasons why Too Faced has had so much success is because it listens to their fans.
