If you are looking for a salad with a variety of healthy options, you should definitely try the Hawaiian Fresh Fruit Salad. This salad only takes 15 minutes to make. It is an easy salad to make, and you can enjoy a variety of fruits, including mango, raspberries, blueberries, etc. You can prepare the salad with your favorite type of fruit; it doesn’t necessarily have to include the ingredients provided below.   • ⅓ cup fresh lime juice

  • Pineapple, cut into bite-size pieces

  1. For the dressing: Mix the lime juice, honey, and ginger in a small bowl.

  2. For the fruit salad: Mix the fruit in a large salad bowl. Pour the dressing over the fruit and stir. Serve immediately if you use bananas.

Citrus Avocado Salad

If you are looking for a tangy and juicy fruit salad, you should try the citrus avocado salad. It is fairly easy to make, and you can add your favorite kinds of citrus. The citrus avocado salad is definitely one you should try this summer.IngredientsFor the salad:

  • 3-4 cups of various farmers market lettuce

  • 2 navel oranges

  • 2 caracara oranges

  • 2 tangerines

  • 3 mandarin oranges

  • 1 blood orange

  • 3-4 Persian cucumbers, thinly sliced

  • 2 avocados, cut into wedges

  • Kosher salt and pepper

  • For the Citrus Vinaigrette:

  • 2 lemons, juiced

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 shallot, finely minced

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste


  1. Arrange the lettuce on a large platter or bowl.

  2. Carefully slice the peel off the citrus. Cut the citrus into slices and carefully pop out any seeds. Arrange the citrus, cucumbers, and avocados in and around the lettuce, and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Whisk together the ingredients for the vinaigrette, taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed.

  4. Serve the vinaigrette drizzled on top of the salad.

Rainbow Fruit Salad

Summer is the best time to enjoy a colorful and tasty fruit salad. A rainbow fruit salad can help you get into the summer mood and enjoy a vibrant snack. This salad can also be served as a dessert, and it would be a much healthier choice for dessert.Ingredients

  • 1 small fresh pineapple (or ½ a large one), cored and cut into small wedges/pieces

  • 1 mango, peeled and cut into small cubes

  • 1 peach, sliced and cut into smaller pieces

  • 1 nectarine, sliced and cut into smaller pieces

  • ½ pound strawberries, hulled and quartered

  • 1 medium-size package (about 11 ounces) fresh blueberries

Citrus-honey dressing

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped or julienned fresh mint leaves


  1. Add all the cut fruit to a large bowl, and if not cold already, chill for about 30 minutes.

  2. Pour the citrus honey dressing over it, and sprinkle in the julienned/chopped mint; toss everything together, and serve immediately. (If making slightly ahead, you can just keep the cut fruit in a bowl in the fridge, and when ready to serve, toss with citrus-honey dressing, and the mint, and serve.)

Citrus Honey Dressing Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

  • 2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed orange juice

  • ½ tablespoon fresh lime juice


  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl and whisk together until well-combined; use immediately or keep covered and refrigerated until ready to use. (Best used as soon as possible after being prepared for best flavor.)

Margarita Fruit Cocktail

Looking for a twist to a fruit salad? If so, then you should try the margarita fruit cocktail. This cocktail will not only help you feel refreshed, but it will also add a twist in flavor.Ingredients

  • 4 c. assorted fruit, chilled (1 cup each blueberries, cubed honeydew melon, cubed pineapple, and halved strawberries)

  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp. tequila or water

  • 1 tbsp. grated lime zest

  • 2 tbsp. lime juice

  • 1 lime wedge

  • Garnish: coarse decorating sugar


  1. Mix in a large fruit bowl. Stir sugar and tequila with lime zest and juice in a small bowl. Toss with fruit, cover, and chill.Rub a lime wedge around the rim of 4 margarita glasses; dip glasses in sugar. Fill each glass with fruit cocktail.
