Ideas For A Winter Family Vacation

Winter Vacation

Although fall has just begun before you know it winter will be upon us! It is never too early to start planning your family’s winter vacation. Rather getting stuck in a rut and going the same places every year (or worse, not going anywhere for the winter!), take a look at these five suggestions for your family’s winter vacation.

Grand Canyon, Arizona

The Grand Canyon is one of our nation’s greatest natural landmarks. It runs 277 miles, is 18 miles across, and a mile deep. Annually, about 4.5 million people visit the Grand Canyon. You can visit the South Rim where you will find the Grand Canyon Village and Bright Angel Trail. However, the South Rim tends to be a crowded tourist spot, so if you want a more isolated area visit the North Rim.

Stowe rests between two mountains: Green and Hogback. Mount Mansfield is Vermont’s highest peak, and it dominates the town’s skyline.
