The Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer

Let me just start by saying this The Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer is totally worth the hype!

Lately I have been obsessing over anything that has Coconut, (Coconut crazy over here!??) So it wasn’t to my surprise that I would fall in love with the new Marc Jacobs Under(cover) Coconut Primer.

I ordered this new primer online last week during the Vib Rouge 20% off sale at Sephora along with a few other items that I have been testing out. (I will be sure to blog about those items as well) Retailing at $44 this primer is definitely a splurge, but in my opinion it is worth the money because of the fact that it plays well with all types of foundations. Also, a little goes a long way with this primer. I know it sounds cliche but I mean it, one drop covers the entire face! This is a super lightweight primer that will make sure your skin is smooth and hydrated before applying any makeup on your skin. I have been loving this product and not to mention that it smells amazing on my skin, but it makes my skin baby soft! Normally I use the primer “Porefessional” by Benefit Cosmetics which is also a really great primer that helps minimize the appearance of pores and is a little less expensive, (I would recommend this one as well) but I am so glad that I decided to switch things up and give the new Marc Jacobs primer a try. It’s amazing!

The two main ingredients are water and “Coconut Alkanes” which comes from the pulp of the coconut and acts as a humectant making this a SUPER hydrating primer. If your going to put the word “coconut” in the name of your product it better be one of the first ingredients I see on the label! Heading into the cold fall/winter months this makes a great addition to your makeup routine for the season. It will definitely boost up the moisture your skin needs. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that it is Oil-Free! So if you are looking for a primer that doesn’t give you that oily finish this is the way to go. I give this primer two thumbs up! It’s a must try, especially for that perfect foundation look for the holidays!

You can pick one up at your local Sephora!image
