She has the wisdom of Solomon and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who visit her home.
What Is a Proverbs Wife?
So what does it take to become a Proverbs 31 wife? It is something that takes practice. We all fall short before the Glory of God, and sometimes we have emotions overtake us. While this is normal, we should take extra care to explore our feelings and understand ourselves to the point that we can give our troubles to the Lord so that He can take away our difficulties. The Lord is there for you because He wants you to be just as honorable and loving as possible to everyone you meet. If you can love others the way you would want to be loved, and there are varying degrees of love for strangers, friends, and family you are on your way to being a Proverbs 31 wife.
You Can Be a Proverbs Wife
You may look at the Proverbs 31 woman as something that you are incapable of doing, but that is far from the truth. Take a moment and reflect on how kindly you treat others. You have probably held open a door for a stranger, right? You have said “please” and “thank you” to strangers as well. One way to start being a Proverbs wife is to give these same courtesies to your own family. We often treat complete strangers better than our family. We show our true selves to our family because we feel safe doing so, but remember they are worth the same kindnesses you display for strangers at the least.
Always remember to take your needs to the Lord. Make God the center of your life, and ask Him to help you become the best wife, mom, and friend you can be. He will hear you and help remove the obstacles that prevent you from becoming the Proverbs 31 wife. You can become a beautiful, wise and compassionate woman of God that enjoys serving others. Your heart will open, and your life will change; I promise.
