Kingdom Corner: How to Find Salvation

Have you wondered how to find Salvation? If you are ready for our Father and His Son, you’ve come to the right place. It is easy, and I promise you it’s the best decision you could ever make in your life. There is no better feeling than knowing you have God’s protection and love all the time. God is your best friend, father figure, and a source of peace. You will feel transformed as you incorporate faith into your life. Are you ready?

The Story of Salvation

The Father gave us His Son as an eternal sacrifice for sins. Think about that. God will always be willing to forgive you for your sins because Christ is our eternal link to the Father. Jesus loved us, and that means all of us on earth for the rest of the ages; so much that He chose to suffer for our sins. It would be hard to find one person that would die for his or her enemies, but that’s what Christ did.

One of Christ’s disciples gave Him up to the authorities. The Jews rejected Him and whipped Him. The Jews made Christ carry His cross to the Hill to be hung next to criminals. Christ only wanted to preach the Good News that forgiveness was here. Our Savior took on all of this for you. Jesus knows what that feels like. Jesus was tempted just like the rest of us are tempted; He was both human and divine. Jesus made it very simple to gain salvation:

If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10: 9-10. NIV.

Welcome to the Family

The God of the Universe makes it that easy. Simply talk to him aloud. Tell Him how much you want Him in your life. Make a vow to turn from your ways. Dedicate your life to living more like Christ. Start reading the New Testament. Try reading The Message Bible. It is in conversational language and easier to understand for new Christians. Read the Story of Jesus in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You can look for a church home. Try different churches until you find one that’s right for you. Most of all, Rejoice! You are now a Christian! Welcome to the Family of God.
