Crockpot Italian Beef

This Crockpot Italian Beef recipe is my recipe that I’ve worked on for over five years. It is so succulent and savory that you will not have leftovers. It is easy to make, and once you have the ingredients in the crockpot, you just leave it and then enjoy it!

Ingredients for Crockpot Italian Beef

  1. 3-5 pound sirloin tip roast or another beef roast
  2. 1 small jar of pepperoncini sliced or whole
  3. 3 tsp sea salt
  4. 1 tsp pepper
  5. ½ tsp cracked red pepper
  6. 1 packet of Louie’s Italian Beef Au Jus Seasoning
  7. 1 bottle of Italian dressing

  1. Poke tiny fork holes in the roast
  2. Place roast in the crockpot
  3. Cover roast with water
  4. Chop up pepperoncinis leaving the seeds to go in the crockpot
  5. Add half the bottle of Italian dressing
  6. Add half of Louie’s Italian Beef Seasoning packet
  7. Add the salt, pepper, cracked red pepper to the crockpot
  8. Set the crockpot on high
  9. Let the roast cook for several hours until two forks easily shred it
  10. Shred the roast with two forks
  11. Add the rest of the Italian dressing
  12. Add the rest of Louie’s Italian Beef Seasoning packet
  13. Let the roast absorb the seasonings for another two hours on low

Serve this with hoagie buns toasted in the oven with mozzarella cheese for a topping. I like to serve it this way with tortilla chips and cheese dip. This recipe is a huge hit for the Big Game Day. You can freeze leftovers for a month. Italian Beef is great on chilly days. Experiment with it yourself and make it your own! I’ve never shared this recipe before as I kept it a secret. I know you’ll love it as much as my friends and family. In case you’ve never heard of Louie’s Italian Beef Au Ju Seasoning here is what you’re looking for:
