The Best Celebrity Wedding Dresses

Celebrities are glamorous. They fill our magazines, news feeds, talk shows, and entertainment. We look to them for street-style inspiration, red carpet statements, and hair and makeup tips. So, it’s no surprise that we also look to them for wedding inspiration. Sure, celebrity marriages might not have the best track record of lasting a long time, but at least their wedding style is timeless. After all, there is a reason millions of Americans woke up early to watch the royal wedding (myself included). We didn’t care about the ceremony or the tradition–we wanted to see the dress! Whether you are getting married in the near future and want some ideas about your dress, or just love seeing our style icons at their best, here are our top celebrity wedding dresses you won’t have any trouble saying “Yes!” to.

Audrey Hepburn

Ok, technically this wasn’t from one of Hepburn’s real-life weddings. But, we couldn’t resist! This 1957 Givenchy collaboration for the film “Funny Face” is iconic. Instead of being a typical floor-length wedding gown, this dress is a beautiful tea-length ballgown. Audrey Hepburn is the epitome of grace and this dress only emphasizes her classic and timeless style.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

Obviously, we had to include this one. Kate Middleton literally lived out most every girl’s childhood dream to become a princess. And, she looked just like one in this stunning Alexander McQueen gown. It’s no wonder lace sleeves are still so popular among wedding dresses. It also seems like Middleton took her own inspiration from our next pick, who just so happens to be another princess.

Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco

Grace Kelly embodies elegance, and the high collar and cinched waist of this dress, along with the subtle details, highlight her poise and, well, grace. Designed by Helen Rose, this dress definitely goes down in celebrity wedding dress history.

Kelly Clarkson

I love the lace and beading details on Kelly Clarkson’s Temperley London gown. There is a softer side to this bohemian-style dress, and it has such a romantic and vintage effect.

Anne Hathaway

It’s pink. It’s billowy. It’s Valentino. Anne Hathaway’s dress definitely makes an impact and leaves an impression. It’s a little unconventional, but still gorgeous.
