This means you eat healthy 80% of the time and leave the rest for treats. You can’t eat perfectly healthy 100% of the time. Your body craves variety. Eating cookies, junk food or candy in moderation is the key. Feel free to enjoy your mom’s homemade cookies after a healthy dinner filled with vegetables and protein. Digestive Enzymes are a quick fix when you overeat at that holiday party. Digestive enzymes facilitate the chemical breakdown of food into smaller, absorbable components. They will provide relief of gas, bloating, abdominal cramps, and heartburn. If you suffer from a food allergy or intolerance, such as lactose intolerant, then we recommend taking a lactase enzyme. This way you can enjoy holiday treats made with dairy without feeling left out. You can stop bloating before it starts by being prepared with medication.

Green vegetables such as broccoli, kale and asparagus act like natural diuretics. This means they increase your kidney’s ability to transport toxins into the urine. By eating a good variety of green vegetables, you can flush out excess toxins and decrease bloating. The high fiber count in green vegetables cleanses the digestive track. Try starting your morning off with a green shake. Just add spinach, kale, banana, milk and protein powder to a blender for a healthy drink.
