The Academy Awards: The Winners

The Academy Awards were last night and it was filled with memorable moments. Lady Gaga gave a powerful and moving performance. Leo finally won an Oscar and, even though his speech went long, they didn’t dare cut him off with music. Chris Rock sold Girl Scout Cookies. The ceremony itself had some ups and downs, a few technical glitches, a little too much politics. But, when you get down to it, the night is really about the many artists who have worked so hard in the film industry this past year. Whether they were nominated or not, the Oscars celebrate the entire industry that gives us each something special.
