5 Tips For A Healthier (And Better) Week

Starting out the new week can be tough, especially since every new week begins with a Monday. No one likes Mondays, as is obvious by the number of memes and GIFS about how much we hate Mondays, and nothing makes the week worse than starting (or ending) on a bad note. So how do we make our week not only better, but healthier? Here are my top 5 tips for having a healthier and better week!

Set Your Alarm To Your Favorite Song or Radio Station

Music makes us feel many emotions; happiness, sadness, joy, etc. It can even help reduce anxiety. To start your week off on a positive note, find that one song that makes you happy and want to get up to dance. You know that song? The one that when you hear it, no matter where you are, you just have to stop and dance? I want you to find it, set your alarm to it, and wake up to it. Have a favorite radio station? Set your alarm to it so that way it’s the first thing you hear when you wake up.

Eat A Healthier Breakfast

“Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!” How many times has this been drilled into our heads? Instead of opting for cereal or a granola bar or nothing at all, start your day with a piece of fruit or a fruit smoothie. Or even a glass of orange juice.

Spend Time With The Ones You Love

One of the most important things you can do to have a healthier and better week is to make time for your loved ones (both two legged and four). Whether it’s taking a walk after work, eating dinner or better yet, making dinner, spending time together with your loved ones is a good way to ensure a better and healthier week. Laughter is the best form of medicine, and what better way to take it than with loved ones?

Put On A Killer Outfit

Fashion isn’t just about looking good. It’s also about feeling good. What better way to have a healthier and awesome week than to wear a great outfit? When you look good, you feel good and you know it. Everyone else knows it too.

Exercise

Let’s face it, the majority of us hate working out and would rather say we went to the gym than actually go to the gym. However, exercising is a great way to improve your day. Whether it’s exercising before you go to work or after, getting up and moving is not only healthier, but it also makes you feel better.

Don’t pressure yourself to try all of these at once. By making one simple change it can make your day that much better.
